Overview

Android Developer / Mobile Software Engineer (Android SDK Kotlin ReactiveX). Would you like to take ownership and make an impact at a technology company that is helping to drive efficiencies in the NHS via it's suite of digital healthcare products? As an Android Developer you will take ownership of the Android app; initially as the sole engineer but with potential to build a team around you. You’ll be working with a great deal of autonomy, collaborating with the Product Team to design and develop new features. The product currently manages appointment text message reminders, real-time appointment booking systems, patient outreach programmes (screening, immunisation) and interactive GP video calls. Requirements: Strong Android SDK and Android Studio; experience of working on large scale apps Experience with Kotlin and ReactiveX Experience with Unit Tests: Espresso, Mockito, Robolectric Good knowledge of the Android Play Store release and deployment process Collaborative with excellent communication skills As an Android Developer / Mobile Software Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £80k) plus benefits including 25 days holiday, plus an extra day for your birthday; Life Assurance; pension; share option scheme and travel season ticket loan.
