Area Sales Manager – Aluminium Systems Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Aluminium Systems Industry Sector: Architectural Aluminium Fabricators, Aluminium Systems, Curtain Walling, Windows, Doors, Facades, Architectural Glazing, Cladding and Building Envelope Area to be covered: West of England – North West to South West Remuneration: £50,000 Neg. £10,000-£15,000 Uncapped Commission Benefits: Car Allowance and full benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager – Aluminium Systems will involve: · Field sales position selling a high end manufactured range of architectural aluminium windows & doors and curtain walling systems · Selling into aluminium fabricators · You will be responsible for approx. 14 aluminium fabricators nationally (8-9 Midlands to North West and 3-4 Midlands to South West) · 80% account management role, 20% new business development recruiting new aluminium fabricators · £3m revenue responsibility · Area currently performing in line with budget · Typical projects include education, high rise residential, commercial office, healthcare and education · Working closely with two other field sales professionals who are responsible for winning specifications with architects and also managing the trade and retail customers · Utilising in-house CRM system · Project sizes from £250,000, up to £1m The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Aluminium Systems with: · Aluminium systems industry experience · Must have sold to aluminium fabricators · Proven track record in field sales within the aluminium systems, may also consider an estimator looking to progress into field sales · May possibly consider architectural specification sales experience · Must have sold associated products such as; aluminium windows & doors, curtain wall, rainscreen cladding, architectural aluminium, panels, external wall insulation and other building envelope systems · Contacts within aluminium fabricators may be advantageous · Relationship building/ account management skills · Comfortable with a technical sell · Ability to sell on quality over price · Tenacious, people person with bags of personality The Company: · 60 employees · £30m turnover · Leading manufacturer Please contact Paul, Simon or Lee from Mitchell Maguire on 01625 527207 for an immediate interview.
