Devops Engineer 6 Months Newcastle Client Overview: Would you like to join a global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation? Our client are at the forefront of innovation to address the entire breadth of opportunities in the evolving world of cloud, digital and platforms. Role Description : You will be working with- RHEL/Centos, Puppet or Ansible, AWS, Terraform, Bash and Python, Jenkins, and code and security analysis tools (like SonarQube). You'll have experience deploying scalable and highly available, transactional HTTP services including APIs. You're passionate about DevOps, and you have spun up and looked after databases like MySQL and MongoDB, and the more you know about Docker, Kubernetes and container orchestration the better. Key Skills required : Linux operating systems like RHEL Configuration management software like Puppet or Ansible Scripting languages like BASH, Perl or Python AWS Experience of deploying, supporting and patching public, cloud-based applications that are repeatable, scalable, resilient and highly available (including APIs and microservices) Experience of modifying and maintaining systems and code developed by other engineers Suitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
