DevOps Engineer - AWS - Terraform - Ansible - APIs - Docker - Kubernetes We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a massive Global Consultancy who require a DevOps Engineer for one of their Public sector Clients. This will be a 3-month contract based in Newcastle. Please note - This role is Inside of IR35 Role Description As a DevOps Engineer your bread and butter will include work with: RHEL/Centos, Puppet or Ansible, AWS, Terraform, Bash and Python, Jenkins, and code and security analysis tools (like SonarQube). The go-to for deploying and orchestrating microservices architecture, you'll have experience deploying scalable and highly available, transactional HTTP services including APIs. You're passionate about DevOps, and you have spun up and looked after databases like MySQL and MongoDB, and the more you know about Docker, Kubernetes and container orchestration the better. Key Skills required Extensive experience of using, operating, patching and securing Linux operating systems like RHEL Extensive experience of configuration management software like Puppet or Ansible and scripting languages like BASH, Perl or Python Extensive experience of deploying, supporting and patching public, cloud-based applications that are repeatable, scalable, resilient and highly available (including APIs and microservices) Extensive experience of modifying and maintaining systems and code developed by other engineers Technologies Practitioner level - RHEL/Centos, Puppet or Ansible, AWS, Terraform, Bash and Python, Jenkins, and code and security analysis tools (like SonarQube).
