Senior PHP Developer - £55-60,000 - Retail / eBusiness This fabulous eBusiness / Retail organisation is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to work amongst the digital team where you'll be designing, building and maintaining their ecommerce platforms. You will produce beautiful, well-structured and tested code for new features; lead the architecture of systems and applications; Design smart ways of storing and using complex data; Be an active part of an agile development team; Support and mentor team members; Handle data driven requests from the ecommerce department. Experience - In depth knowledge of programming paradigms, processes and application architecture. Knowledge of SCRUM and/or KANBAN process frameworks. Demonstrable commercial experience in PHP5/7. MySQL; query optimisation and administration. Nginx configuration. Zend Framework / Laravel 5 / Symfony. Good knowledge of web technologies (HTML/ES6/CSS) Nice to Have - Linux system administration (RedHat / Centos) Cloud Infrastructure Sphinx Search Python js Docker / Jenkins / Puppet and deployment pipelines Building high volume enterprise e-commerce applications Payment Gateway Integration Implementing third party APIs Building Web services and APIs Working on legacy Zend Framework applications Experience in the retail industry Experience working in a DevOps capacity
