Overview

My client based in Stroud are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company who are a key manufacturer provider within their industry. Responsibilities/Duties; -Matching supplier invoices received to delivery notes and purchase orders -Ensuring that invoices are signed by authorised personnel -Posting invoices and credit notes into the accounting system (currently using Diamond software) -Resolving invoice queries/liaising with suppliers -Processing a weekly bacs run for supplier payments -Keeping all supplier accounts up to date -Reconciling supplier statements -Setting up new supplier accounts -Processing of employee expenses and credit card purchases -Managing the group accounts email inbox Candidate Attributes; -Minimum 3 years’ experience within similar role -Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel -Attention to detail -Precise data entry -Ability to work both as a team and independently -Interpersonal and communication skills -Ability to work to deadlines Hours- Monday- Thursday 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-1pm Salary- Up to £22,000 Benefits
