FEA Engineer

A genuine world leading specialist plastics manufacturer in the Stroud area require an FEA Engineer to join their team. Their products are involved in innovative research across various industries. Due to continued success of the business and the rise in their sector they are looking to rapidly grow over the coming years. The role will work with a team of engineers to undertake modelling and analysis activities using finite element methods to support plastic part design and verification. Responsibilities will include; the optimisation of plastic design, predicting product life time and environmental effects on products. You should have a good engineering degree, knowledge of/experience using Creo FEA package and ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience with FEA analysis tools In return, you will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary and benefits (including a very generous bonus scheme, pension, life assurance and holidays) within a collaborative and friendly environment Role & Responsibilities: Work alongside Research and Design teams to provide Finite Element Analysis (FEA) technical support on new and existing products. Product life cycle and optimisation of design and tolerance. Raising FEA competencies Providing assistance across the entire projects team Co-ordinate with research and development offices globally Supporting client projects producing modelling of products and their applications Occasional travel overseas will be required Experience/Skills: Degree educated in an engineering discipline Previous experience working with FEA analysis tools Prior experience with plastics/polymers would be advantageous Ideally experience with Creo Excellent communication skills IntaPeople is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
