Head of Human Resources Location : Office based in Stokenchurch with travel to offices in London, Southampton and Aberdeen Salary : Competitive Salary Excellent Benefits Contract : Full time, FTC - Maternity cover, up to 1 year Benefits : Private Medical Insurance with EAP, Pension Scheme, Free Parking, Access to Hundreds of Discounts on an Online Benefits Portal, Access to Healthcare Cash Plan, New Car Purchase Schemes provided through partner relationships and more…… The Role - Head of Human Resources: We have a great opportunity for an experienced Head of Human Resources to join our HR team covering maternity leave The Head of HR will be responsible for continuing with the implementation of the HR strategy in place for 2020 which includes; contributing to the success of DEKRA UK through the provision of Human Resources activity to all business units (with a total of circa. 350 employees), managing the transition of HR from a locally provided service to a shared service as well as supporting with the creation of the HR strategy for 2021 The Head of HR will also be responsible for creating, sharing and implementing DEKRA Corporate HR policies within the UK. The successful candidate will need to understand and deliver against the needs and expectations of the Country Manager and UK Business Unit Managing Directors as well as contribute to the delivery of DEKRA UK budget achievement and business goals. The Person Possess hands on experience in a fast paced, high volume environment with a strong customer service focus In order to be considered for the position it is vital that you have led a lean HR function Possess a high level of commercial acumen Must have expert knowledge of mergers and acquisitions and TUPE transfers Possess a CIPD qualified (Level 7) or equivalent Broad generalist experience at senior level A HR leader with a track record of operating at a strategic level Experienced in cultural and operational change In-depth knowledge of modern HR legislation, systems, practices, and UK employment laws Extensive knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems; implementation and management Possess strong management and leadership skills Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate with a wide range of people Strong negotiation skills Proactive and highly self-motivated Team player Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines and to manage own workload About us DEKRA is the world’s leading vehicle testing and inspections organisation, with over 47,000 employees in more than 50 countries.
