Overview
Senior Accountant Merton Full Time Temporary Contract £19.65 per hour Duties within this role: Ensure effective and timely closedown of accounts with appropriate adjustments e.g. accruals, provisions, grant claims/drawdowns and journals. Liaise with Budget Holders to ensure closing figures are accurate and also 2020/21 budgets are aligned correctly with appropriate adjustments made Consolidation of year end reports e.g. out-turn analysis and reconciliations are completed to strict deadlines. Management of accounting services for all blocks of the DSG, including year-end close of the DSG Assisting in the managing of the High Needs Block, aligning funding with expectations. DSG year-end note to the accounts. Running and updating the APT - submission to the DFE and understanding how the National Funding Formula is implemented.
