Overview
Our client, a rapidly growing organisation based in Hampshire are seeking to recruit a strong technically orientated and Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). This is a Senior Manager level position which will play a key role in developing a Real Estate / Property Assets accounting team. Reporting to the Divisional Director of Finance the incumbent will provide technical and regulatory reporting expertise to a mixed level team that works with a number of clients to provide real assets accounting around property fund structures including some complex SPV's. You will act as an A signatory on a number of client reviews and payments as well as providing guidance to key clients on more complex property development fund accounting issues. You will overview all aspects of accounting including investor reports, management accounts, statutory financial statements and ad-hoc investor queries. The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (Likely ACA or ACCA) with significant experience of property/real estate accounting experience, strong financial reporting skills and demonstrable staff management experience. Exposure to property fund accounting could have been developed within industry or at Manager/Senior Manager level with accountancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly developing division at senior manager level relatively early in it's development, meaning you will have an opportunity to be involved in shaping it's future direction.
