Overview

Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are currently working with a dynamic, forward-thinking firm in Truro who are currently looking to expand their team by recruiting an Audit & Accounts Manager. As the Audit & Accounts Manager you will work directly with partners and will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients from a broad range of industry sectors providing audit and non-audit services. You will have an excellent working knowledge of FRS102 (and UK GAAP) reporting standards and (ideally) have experience in the preparation of group consolidated accounts. You will be responsible for managing the audit process from planning through to completion, ensuring the deployment of appropriate staff levels for each assignment. Aside from the client management responsibilities the successful candidate will also contribute to the day to day management and training of staff. This will include having responsibility for taking part in staff appraisals throughout the year to ensure continuous development for individual team members. The ideal candidate for the role will be ACA / ACCA qualified and will have a wealth of accounts and audit experience from an established practice background with previous staff management experience.
