Overview
DevOps Architect (client facing) for major engagement in digital engineering transformation programme for high profile client. You will be a specialist in Kubernetes clustered containerisation with experienced in Red Hat Openshift (build on Kubernetes) with automated installation, upgrades, and lifecycle management throughout the container stack, OS, K8S, cluster services and applications on any cloud (ideally AWS, but GCP or similar fine) DevOps software engineering transformation. INSIDE IR35 but rates to accommodate. Software Engineering background in full stack Java applications software engineering Shell commands Git and Branching Strategy Branching strategy, GitOps, per commit builds/quality gates. CI approach, CI, Tools and Config Management Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (Amazon EKS ) GitOps style of working Good understanding of leading CI platform, eg. Jenkins 2.0/Travis and/or Circle CI Jenkins, in particular, building pipelines and pipeline as a code Expertise in DevOps open source Scripting languages ie Groovy or Python Container and Container Orchestration Docker and Docker daemon, security and logging, Dockerfile/Docker compose and private registry, K8s, K8s overlays, OpenShift, application deployment options including Helm, Kubernetes monitoring and troubleshooting Cloud AWS, Azure, GCP (if you have all 3 that would be fantastic), experience in onboarding, subscription models, implementation of elasticity and self-serve features.
