Smart Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well-established Food Production Company in their search for a Process Engineer. The company are offering a very competitive salary with great company benefits such as 34 days holiday including bank holidays, and employer pension contribution of 6%. Main responsibilities: Lead development of automation process equipment Maintain reliability of processing equipment Resolve breakdowns Investigate reasons for breakdown and identify preventative improvements Service process machinery Liaising with production teams in order to improve efficiency of equipment Maintenance and development of SCADA Proactively promote high standards of health and safety Prepare and update risk assessments Skills and qualifications required 17th or 18th edition wiring competency PLC Fault finding Relevant H&S Knowledge – COSHH, PUWER, Food hygiene Food manufacturing background Lean manufacturing Project management Computer literate Degree qualified – desirable The role is on a rota shift basis (early/late starts) but no night shifts. Hours are a nominal 40 per week, providing cover as part of a team between 6.00am and 10.00pm. We look forward to your application.
