Test Engineer, QA Analyst, Mid-Level, Automation, Selenium, ISTQB, Jira We have partnered with one of Oxfordshire’s leading Digital Technology companies and are looking for a mid-level Test Engineer / QA Analyst to join them in their beautiful rural office south of Oxford. The Test Engineer will join a small and friendly testing team in a Test Engineer position that involves both manual and automated testing , using technologies like Selenium Webdriver. The ideal Test Engineer will be a bright technology enthusiast with a keen eye and meticulous attention to detail This Test Engineer / QA Analyst opportunity is ideal for anyone looking to build upon current commercial testing experience, in a friendly and supportive environment. The range of projects and products (PHP, Java and C#) and great clients (including FTSE 100, universities and more) make this an exciting and engaging role. The Key Responsibilities of the Test Engineer include: Working within an enjoyable dynamic team. Using Test Management with tools like TestRail Creating automated testing scripts and processes, utilising Jenkins, Selenium Creating well-structured test plans and test cases Experience in both Agile and Waterfall practices Collaboration with developers using tools like Confluence and Jira Using a curious and methodical mind set to investigate issues. The ideal Test Engineer Candidate will have: Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role Critical attention to detail and high level of accuracy Experience working in an Agile and Waterfall development processes Experience working with software development teams Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes This Test Engineer position is based between Oxford and Reading and is easily commutable from Reading, Oxford, Wallingford, Didcot, Abingdon, High Wycombe, Wokingham, Bracknell, Thame, Newbury, Swindon, Faringdon and many more locations.
