Electrical CAD Engineer - Welwyn, Hertfordshire Key skills: EPLAN, Electrical Cabinets, Control Systems, Visio, DFMEA, PFMEA, Product Development The Company This company designs and develops technically advanced electromechanical automated machinery for a global client based. The Job They currently have an opening for an Electrical CAD Engineer to join the product development team. Working alongside Electrical and Electronic Design Engineers, you will be responsible for creating CAD drawings and documentation for electrical machines and systems. Duties; · Producing electrical CAD drawings · Production and update of Single Line, schematic and wiring diagrams · Creating electrical wiring schematics and panel / wiring drawings · Involvement in producing BOMs, FDS, preparation an execution of documentation · Producing electrical schematics to IEC 61082 standard · Participating in design and design document reviews for new product designs and changes/modifications of existing designs The Person Essential skills and qualifications: · HND or degree in Engineering · Experience working on electrical cabinets and control systems for applications · Experience of full product development lifecycle · MS Office (PowerPoint & Excel) · Visio · Active experience on DFMEA, PFMEA Desirable skills and qualifications: · Experience working with suppliers and contract manufacturers · Experience of simulation of electrical systems · Matlab experience · EPLAN user (P8, Propanel) Benefits: Excellent Salary, Pension, Private Healthcare, Shares Scheme This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/88334991
