HR GENERALIST- FREIGHT FORWARDING

My client is a fast growing, expanding freight forwarder seeking an experienced HR GENERALIST to join their busy HR team Daily duties include: To assist with the whole recruitment processes Issuing contracts to new members of staff Completing introductions with new starters Monitoring sickness trends Payroll To complete and maintain employee files including 5 year checks/ DBS checks/ Training Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies Keep update on employment laws Reporting to the HR manager Skills needed: Good knowledge of the freight forwarding industry CIPD Level 5 Experience working on projects Strong communication skills verbal and written Steady work history Quick thinking Must have a full UK driving licence (due to travelling to other branches) Experience using Microsoft excel, outlook & word Working hours: Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30
