Procurement Manager - 45k-55k per annum DOE - Permanent role I have been retained by a a fantastic IT solutions based company as an opportunity has arisen within the team. Working for a small fast paced organisation easily commutable from Bristol, Bath and Swindon. You will head up the growing procurement function and be line management for the current buyer in the organisation. Working closely with the FD your work will be important for the overall success of this incredible IT solution based organisation. I'm looking for someone either on an upward trajectory or with a strong career behind them that can work with a technical company, used to working in a small team and experience with drafting, negotiating and managing contracts, suppliers and more. The role: You will negotiate and manage a variety of strategic contracts and framework agreements that are crucial to the ongoing success of this organisation. Undertake defined commercial and contract role in respect of the selection of suppliers, placement of purchase orders and performance management. Lead negotiation on all contracts with suppliers, including leading contract changes and negotiation of selected suppliers. Lead the management of recurring contracts within the business. Identify areas for implementing change into the business. Line management of Buyer within the team. What experience do you need? Experience in IT/Managed services is preferred Direct & Indirect Experience is preferred Degree educated, MCIPS or equivalent qualification. You will have a proven track record as a Buyer/Procurement manager.
