Overview
DevOps Engineer London to £80k DevOps Engineer / SRE (Java Docker Linux CI/CD). City based Investment Management firm with over a trillion dollars under management is seeking a technologist to take ownership of delivering automated solutions to problems throughout the software development lifecycle. The core technologies used by the team are Java, .Net Core and Python, increasingly deployed to AWS using Containerisation. As a DevOps Engineer you will manage Continuous Integration environments; tools such as Jenkins and SonarQube; handle upgrades and plugins, control permissions; optimise builds and manage application and development environments across a variety of physical and Cloud based environments. You’ll work with Infrastructure, Security and Development teams to promote the adoption of automation and help provide a streamlined set of tools and processes. You’ll be based in fantastic City offices with a professional and dynamic yet friendly environment. Requirements: Strong Java coding, ideally from a development background; understand the software development lifecycle from a developers’ perspective Containerisation experience using Docker Good knowledge of Linux and networking fundamentals Good knowledge of the latest DevOps, CI/CD tooling and practices (Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, SonarQube) Linux and networking fundamentals Familiar with AWS Experience with Continuous Integration tooling using Jenkins, Maven and / or SonarQube As a DevOps Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £80k) plus benefits.
