Overview

Management Accountant (PQ) : West End : £35,000 - £40,000 This is a fantastic opportunity for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join one of the UKs leading challenger banks ( Fintech ) currently going through a period of high growth. Tasks: Prepare monthly management accounts; Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations (including cash, accrual, prepaids and fixed asset accounts), resolving any discrepancies promptly; Post journals to the general ledger where necessary; Analyse and comment on actual variances against prior period and budget; Support the payments accounting process to ensure accurate, timely booking and appropriate treatment; Assist with audit requests and deliverables; Support business partnering activities with specific budget holders across the organisation; Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures to support growth; Provide ad hoc reporting to support management decision-making. Requirements: ACA, ACCA or CIMA part qualified Minimum of 2 years experience in industry; Excellent attention to detail; Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Proactive, organised, self-starter and able to work to tight deadlines; Experience of working in a fast-paced environment; Experience in the fintech industry is highly regarded; Experience in a high-growth company.
