JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Economic Development Officer DEPARTMENT: Economic Akton Recruitment are seeking to employ an Economic Development Officer for a client in Lisburn. JOB PURPOSE The purpose of the role as an Economic Development Officer is to assist the Economic Development Manager with the implementation and management of high-quality projects. You will be required to deputise the Economic Development Manger where required. You may also be expected to assume additional duties as reasonably determined by the Economic Development Manager and be flexible on duties to cover for sickness, annual leave, etc. REQUIREMENTS: - Educated to NVQ Level 4 or to Degree level. - A full current UK Driving License with access to a car. - Work proactively in partnership with other divisions. - Prepare and commission research information necessary to comply with statutory and advisory matters as they relate to economic development. - Good communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to speak to members of staff on all levels.
