Overview

I am currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a successful and diverse organisation in Chester. You will be responsible for the day to day running of a fast-paced finance function in an energetic business and work hand in hand with the Directors. Duties and responsibilities will include: Full line management responsibilities of the Finance Team including task allocation, managing workflow, overseeing payroll and training and development Preparing periodic financial reports, including monthly accounts, VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and commentaries Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements to streamline processes and taking the lead on implementation and roll out Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation Providing a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions and ensure compliance Liaising with other function managers to put finances and accounts in context Skills & Experience: Experience of working in an SME organisation Demonstrable experience in a previous similar role Strong leadership experience and ability to lead a small team Innovative with a can do attitude Systems-savvy including Sage (essential) and bespoke systems AAT qualified/QBE/Part-qualified Benefits: Salary negotiable dependent on experience Free parking On site Gym Performance Bonus up to £5k PA Private Medical Insurance
