Overview
Financial Accountant - Reading - £45,000 - £50,000 FryerMiles are currently partnering with a well-known FMCG brand based in Reading on the recruitment of a Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant looking for a broad accounting role in a business that offers a clear progression route. In this role, you will be accountable for a wide range of responsibilities, including: Running smooth month end reports to feed into the monthly reporting package Submission of monthly results, reforecasts and budgets Lead of balance sheet reconciliations Prepare monthly UK VAT returns Work with the Financial Controller to identify and rectify areas of weak control Support on the interim and year-end audit, acting as a key point contact Support the Financial Controller on the preparation of the statutory accounts Production of P&L summaries along with rolling P&L forecasts To be considered for this position, you will be fully-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent. Preferably coming from a practice background, with proven experience in financial accounting as well as management accounting. In person you will be enthusiastic, have an inquisitive nature and be able to challenge and suggest recommendations for continuous improvement. Financial Accountant - Reading - £45,000 - £50,000
