Job Description
CMA Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller on an exclusive basis to join a rapidly growing business based in The Thames Valley. This is a newly created role will play an integral part of the Senior Management Team, reporting to the CEO and is a fantastic opportunity to deliver financial rigour, support and information in line with the needs and requirements of the business. Highly acquisitive; this role will play a key part in the due diligence and integration and ensuring robust controls and processes are implemented across the business. What will the role involve? * Delivery of financial and operational controls and business processes; * Preparation of monthly management accounts and cash flow management; * Reviewing acquisition opportunities and leading financial due diligence and contractual negotiations. * Working closely with a Finance Assistant and overseeing finance transactions; * Business modelling including budgeting and forecasting; * Financial analysis, highlighting variances and identifying risks and opportunities to improve financial results; * Leading the statutory audit process and preparation of quarterly VAT returns; * Ad hoc project support. Suitable Candidate: * ACCA/ACA or CIMA with a high level of financial accounting experience. * Experience of mergers & acquisitions * Ideally experience in Technology, Media or Telecoms * Experience working at a senior level in an SME environment * Experience of using the financial package of an ERP system This is a varied and extremely hands on role which requires flexibility, enthusiasm, accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
