Overview
Oakleaf Partnership are partnering with an International law Firm to recruit a Graduate Recruitment & Development Manager for 12 Months. This firm's graduate recruitment and development team is based in London and forms part of a larger national and international HR department. The team is made up of two individuals - the existing Manager who will be commencing maternity leave at the end of May and a Graduate Recruitment & Development Assistant. The primary purpose of this Fixed Term role is to play an integral part in attracting and recruiting high-calibre trainee solicitors for the firm, and assisting with the effective management of the two-year training and development programme. this role reports to the HR Director. This will include: Recruitment: - Managing the recruitment of graduate talent nationally, as required to maintain the firm's trainee pipeline. With the support of the Graduate Recruitment & Development Assistant, this will be the end-to-end recruitment of about 50 (both trainees and summer students) This will see the successful candidate involved in application reviews, assessment days and interviews and overseeing the on boarding process. Attraction: - Overall responsibility for implementing the firms graduate attraction strategy. Trainee Development: - Providing HR generalist support to national trainee population. - Management of the twice-yearly trainee induction process nationally and internationally, which will see the successful candidate interacting closely with all departments and trainee solicitors. - Managing the trainees' mid-seat and end-of-seat appraisal process, reviewing all finalised documentation to have an overview of the development of each trainee solicitors and safe record-keeping. Other duties: - Ad hoc graduate recruitment related projects as required. - Management of the Graduate Recruitment & Development Assistant. - Being a key member of the Committee facilitating three meetings a year to keep the Partners informed of developments on the function's part. This organisation would like someone who has worked in a client- facing role within a professional services organistion- with exceptional attention to detailand knowledge of the graduate market place- with experience in this area.
