Supplied into high quality outlets and retailers, the company has a clear vision to make and sell the best tasting and highest quality products The job As a crucial part of the Technical team, your role is to assist the in the daily operation of the Quality department plus implementation and monitoring of quality and technical standards. You will compile and issue process control records and quality standards, attend trials and product launches, audit and monitor food safety, quality and legality within the factory, carry out internal auditing, investigate customer complaints and ensure technical systems are in place. You will also carry out swabbing including micro and allergen plus ensure the factory is to the best GMP standards ready for unannounced audits/customer visits. Your experience Ideally educated to an HND/degree level in a food technology subject, you will have previous QA experience from within food manufacturing. Experience of working with dairy related products is an advantage. Additional qualifications such as HACCP, Food Safety and Internal Auditing are also desirable. You will have excellent organisation skills, the ability to interpret statistical data, good IT and excellent communication skills.
