Formulation Development Chemist Household Industry Salary: DOE Benefits: 20 days holiday bank holidays, Pension scheme Hours: Full time, Permanent Location: Wirral, Merseyside, CH41 Our manufacturing partner of sustainable eco-friendly household cleaning and laundry products is looking to strengthen their technical team by recruiting an experienced Formulation Development Chemist to work on projects for major retailer accounts. The role will involve developing new formulations and improving current formulations and their manufacturing processes. The role will be based at Organica (UK) Ltd on Wirral, Merseyside. Reporting directly to the Head of the Technical Department the main job responsibilities will include: Work as part of the research and development technical team Develop new formulations in line with briefs to fulfil the product requirements and performance verses relevant benchmarks Develop new formulations to match the target cost and review existing formulations to optimise in terms of performance and cost Be involved in the transition of newly developed products into full scale production. Work with the technical team to complete regulatory testing on current and new formulations Completion of all necessary paperwork required for product launches and the compilation of associated reports, documents and files regarding testing and product formulations Engage with suppliers to understand new chemical advancements and trends in the market.
