Overview
Gibson Jones is proud to be partnering with a modern accountancy practice in south Cambridge. After some streamlining of their internal processes, they are looking to bring on board someone to head up the bookkeeping & VAT function both on site; managing the accounts juniors & also to manage the offshore bookkeeping service they utilise. Essentially, they’re looking to strengthen the bookkeeping function to allow them to offer real time advice to their clients further modernising the service they offer. Much of the work involved in this role will be carried out on Xero so you will need to be an expert with this software. The role would suit somebody looking to join a company where you will be highly valued as the quality of the bookkeeping data is vital to how they want to build things moving forward and is integral to the business strategy. Previous experience of working in practice is a must & professional qualification (MAAT) would be ideal.
