Senior Fullstack Engineer - Fintech / iGaming Excellent salary and package London Our client is an exciting fintech / igaming company that has enjoyed a rapid rise and is now entering an exciting new point in its growth trajectory. They offer a unique product that is disrupting the sports betting sector. If you are a keen sports fan, and in particular, a fan of football, then this could be the dream opportunity for you. Role: Take a Senior role within the Fullstack (FE/BE) Chapter and as part of the overall Product Engineering function within a Product Squad. Remain abreast of best practice within this functional field. Continuously peruse clean code practices and contribute towards overall platform architecture in concert with Head of Engineering and CTO. Maintain and evolve the current system and develop new services in a cloud environment. Excellent people and communication skills to coach new team members as the team grows as we value a collaborative product engineering culture. Requirements Essential: • Node.js • Javascript, React, Angular and other modern frameworks and libraries • Excellent Financial Services/Trading/Sporting domain knowledge • More than one programming language and paradigm (OOP, Functional programming) • Best practices: TDD, OOD, DDD, Design patterns • Relational and NoSQL Databases • Agile experience and product engineering culture • Communication and collaboration in a diverse and distributed team Desirable: • Kafka, SQS • AWS • DevOps practice • Microservices and Serverless Estate • Docker • Other languages: Python, Java, Kotlin etc. • Redis, NoSQL databases, Elastic Search • Trading or Sporting experience • Interest in football, sports and trading If you are excited about the prospect of taking on a key position within this innovative and fast-growing business, then please send your CV and covering information today.
