Overview

Care Assistants / Support Worker As a Care Assistant / Support Worker with Caremark Bristol, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support needs of customers in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes their independence. Principal responsibilities as Care Assistants / Support Worker To assist clients who need help getting up and going to bed in the morning and evenings, including dressing and undressing, washing, bathing and going to the toilet. Assist clients with all personal needs of personal care such as getting out of bed, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing, assistance with going to the toilet etc Help clients with their mobility / physical requirements including incontinence, personal aids and equipment Promote mental and physical activities such as; outings, reading, writing, hobbies and recreations. Assistance with changing beds, light cleaning, emptying commodes Read and write reports and be involved in clients’ reviews and training activities. To encourage the independence of clients wherever possible. Personal attributes Care Assistants / Support Worker It is considered essential that Care and Support Workers possess the following qualities; Self-motivated & well organised. Flexible.
