Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Tax Manager to join a market leading accountancy practice based in Ipswich. Responsibilities include: - Managing client portfolio - Provide tax planning and advisory services to both corporate and personal tax clients - Manage the team to prepare personal and corporate tax returns and associated compliance forms ready for client signature and approval and review these prior to issue to the client - Review of corporate files to establish tax liabilities and exposure to corporation tax - Meeting HMRC deadlines - Meeting with new and existing clients - Corresponding with HMRC re: Taxes, NIC and Tax Credit claims. Occasionally dealing with investigations by HRMC - Liaising with and supervising tax staff and reviewing work ready for client signature Skills and abilities: - Recognised tax/accounting qualification, with relevant/significant work experience - Ability to motivate people in a Tax and Compliance environment - Attending networking events to promote the firm and win new work - Maximise cross selling opportunities - Attending marketing events If you would like further information on this role and to apply for the position please contact Amy Perks at Pure.
