Overview
Finance Business Partner (it's based nearer to Staplehurst and involves some travel, but not extensive, across the South East to Berkshire). As well as implementing strategy for the business, you will be doing a very hands on role managing a team and financial processes across the business. It's primarily focused around two of four companies within a group that require managing the accountancy teams, plus integration and harmonisation of financial systems and controls to bring consistency of reporting to the division. The Finance Business Partner will report to the Group Financial Controller and will be involved in presenting financial results to the board and developing financial plans for the division. Finance Business Partner: Preparing monthly management and statutory financial results Managing month end close processes including balance sheet reconciliations Taking ownership of the general ledger for two companies Managing the year end audit Integrating currently separate finance teams and systems Reviewing and modernising financial systems and controls with a key focus on increasing the efficiency of the financial processes Improving financial reporting and analysis Presenting financial results and KPIs to the board at weekly board meetings Redesigning and implementing an annual budgeting process Implementing a system of credit control management to support credit insurance requirements Providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members Sage 200 and Sage 50 would be an advantage Finance Business Partner (it's based nearer to Staplehurst and involves some travel, but not extensive, across the South East to Berkshire).
