Technical Architect
Overview
An urgent opportunity has become available for an Architect to work for an established multi-disciplinary practice in East Sussex. This is initially a 6-8 week contract with the potential to go permanent, rate circa £20/hr Ltd depending on experience. This is an ideal position for someone available at short notice and looking for a decent opportunity as soon as possible. You'll be working on the planning and later RIBA stages in the first few weeks. As mentioned above this has the potential to be a permanent position and over time you'll be running with your own projects so job running experience would suit. A focus or interest in working on commercial projects would be ideal, in general the company work within a variety of sectors including education and residential so knowledge of all three would put you in good stead. AutoCAD is the main software in use, if you have experience in Revit that would be a bonus as would experience in NBS specification writer. With offices spanning the country and a large increase in workload this is certainly a position for long haul and an opportunity to become an important member of the Architectural team.
