Senior Quantity Surveyor - Heathrow
Overview
Building the present, creating the future Description We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on our Heathrow Road Tunnel Refurbishment project (£37m over two years). The initial works will be complete by March 2022 after which there will be opportunities progress within the Greater London area, potentially with further infrastructure projects within Heathrow Airport over the next 5 years. You will be o ffice based for the duration of the works at the Starlight Point Heathrow Project Office next to the Heathrow Central Terminal. There are good transport links via TfL rail, underground and bus. Your key activities will include: Managing and developing junior QS's. Input into the monthly payment application. Subcontractor administration of accounts > £1m in value. Control of Earnt Value Management. Compensation event identification and evaluation. Forecasting costs and input into internal reporting. Supporting Project QS. Job Requirements Your qualifications, skills and experience should include: Degree / HND Quantity Surveying qualification or similar, with minimum relevant experience. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. NEC3 Target Cost Contract experience. Ability to manage and develop staff. Effective time management. Experience working on M&E projects would be advantageous. Familiarity with design and build projects would be advantageous. What do we offer?
