Overview
Project Quantity Surveyor, Well Established Specialist Building Company Your new company This multiple award winning care home specialist have a strong project pipeline across the South of the UK and are looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team. Your new role Reporting to the Commercial Director you will manage the commercial delivery of major new build care home projects ranging in value between £5-50m within the South West. You will be office based in Cardiff with travel to site 1-2 days per week usually with some lodge involved depending on project location. Usually only needed to lodge away 1 night per week. What you'll need to succeed For the best chance of success with this role you will have experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Ideally with major project experience in new build projects in the care sector at values above and beyond £7m. You will have a genuine passion for construction and a track record of projects successfully delivered. You will likely hold a degree or HNC in quantity surveying and commercial management. You will be confident in dealing with subcontractors, clients and the public.
