Job Description
Opportunity for a sales engineer, tooling engineer or project engineer / manager to work part-time (approx 20 hours per week) from home anywhere in the UK. The hiring company supplies injection mould tooling from their factory in China to customers in Germany, the UK, US, Poland, and Thailand. The business has built a reputation for the quick delivery of high-quality mould tools, at competitive prices. As the sales engineer, tooling / project engineer, you will work very closely with the company director, the production facility in China and customers. Responsibilities * Checking quotations * Liaising with customers to discuss mould tool requirements * Developing new business in Germany / Europe. * Liasing with UK and Chinese staff to approve tool designs * Reviewing technical drawings * Translation of technical German into English To apply for the sales engineer, tooling engineer, project engineer, position, you will need: - * Fluency in technical German and technical English * A mechanical engineering or tooling engineering background * Experience of plastic injection moulding and tooling construction * Project management experience * The ability to read technical drawings * The willingness travel to China if and when required In return, you will receive a pro-rata salary of between £30,000 - £40,000.
