Principal Enforcement Officer Job, Birmingham City Centre, Competitive Salary, Leading Local Authority Your new company Birmingham City Council are currently recruiting for a Principal Enforcement Officer to start ASAP on a temporary, ongoing basis. Your new role As a Principal Enforcement Officer, you will lead the day to day operations of the Enforcement Team to ensure the efficient and effective processing of enforcement complaints from receipt to closure. You will monitor the progress on complaints and targeted sites to ensure they are processed in accordance with agreed targets and performance assessed. You will play a pivotal role in cross departmental work in Proceeds of Crime cases and in conjunction with the corporate fraud and financial investigators and identify and manage proceeds of crime cases. What you'll need to succeed As an experienced Planning Enforcement Officer, you will have experience of identifying and securing proceeds of crime and reinvesting into enforcement related activities. You will have up to date knowledge of planning legislation and have experience of leading complex planning issues and presenting them. Experience of working within a local authority / public sector organisation would be highly beneficial.
