Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory & Accreditation's Manager to oversee and manage the Regulation and Accreditation Team including supervising the Leads and Officers, to deputise for the Director in their absence. To ensure that the Team work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment, locally and corporately, and to ensure that they meet objectives for the implementation, ongoing assessment and development of the regulatory standards. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. Responsibilities To help manage the Team to drive forward the quality assurance framework and intelligent monitoring arrangement to ensure facilities are ready for inspections and are self-reporting via assurance systems and dashboards. Report to HCA senior management and the Director updates on CQC readiness and quality assurance of facilities Support the Director with the strategic direction of regulatory quality across facilities and incorporation of this into the work stream Direct the Director to build its reputation, efficiency and productivity and in achieving a quality footprint within HCA To ensure that tasks are delegated accordingly to the Director to ensure team objectives are met in a timely manner To monitor the progress of new starters and develop training needs Bring in new and innovative ways of working to help develop the Department’s approach to patient safety and quality Manage the flow of communication to the Director from the Clinical Services Department and wider HCA facilities When possible, register as a CQC Specialist Advisor to gain experience in external inspections Develop and implement tool of assurance across the business. Experience Needed Registered Clinician - Essential Relevant Post Graduate Qualification - Desirable Extensive Post Registration Experience - Desirable Senior Healthcare Professional Leadership and Managerial Experience - Essential Experience with recruitment and retention planning - Desirable
