Overview
We are seeking a Software Controls Engineer to work for a machinery manufacturer based in Spilsby. Due to ongoing expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Controls Engineer / Programmer. The role involves creating and designing control and diagnostic programmes to ensure efficiency and provide their expanding customer base with unrivalled control capabilities. Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate the following: • Experience in PLC software (preferably Omron) • HMI design and programming (preferably Omron) • Experience of Scada software • Experience in remote i/o modules and networks i.e. Modbus-DeviceNet-EtherCat. • Experience in safety plc design and software • SQL database set up and activation The basic salary is negotiable and dependent upon experience.
