You will be joining a team of five that are dedicated to the engineering of data solutions within the fixed income technology department. The team is in the process of building solutions in AWS, engineering multiple data feeds from Bloomberg PORT for risk analysis and building API's so that other engineering teams within fixed income can access central data sources. Your immediate task will be to set up API's and streams to Bloomberg so that they can provide risk analysis. It is important, therefore, that you have strong previous experience of setting up data feeds between systems. The core technology will be Java and Python on AWS. There may be some JavaScript but the priorities are experience with data feeds, Python or Java and AWS. Experience in fixed income or asset management are only desirable. This is a small team where the software engineers cover the whole cycle including testing, devops, engineering and business analysis. You will be using the whole AWS portfolio of products. Hours are 9-5. There will be no, or very limited, travel. This is an excellent company to join with significant investment in technology.
