Systems Accountant

Based out of one of the most progressive office spaces in the Manchester area, my client is recruiting for a proven Systems Accountant to join their Finance department. The successful candidate will support global finance systems. Through your expertise, you will offer support to all of the global finance support community ensuring that the finance systems continue to meet global management and local statutory compliance requirements whilst offering advice, support and solutions to queries. You will manage global month end processes, closing periods and running foreign exchange revaluation processes. You will liaise with local office accounting experts for statutory and tax reporting purposes, and ensure system integrity is maintained by performing sub ledger to general ledger reconciliations on a periodic basis. Comfortable with pace of change, you will have an eye for improving processes and systems. You will aid in further implementations, designing and testing of new reports and work closely with third party providers. Any experience of SAP and/or Oracle would be advantageous.
