Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our client as an HR & OD Manager based in Bournemouth. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and shaping business initiatives to create effective solutions for change management, workforce planning, performance management, talent management and succession planning. Key responsibilities will include: Undertaking key strategic HR and OD related activities to support the vision and strategic plan and develop integrated solutions. Embedding a culture of high performance and coaching managers in managing performance at individual and team level. Analysing and utilising management information and workforce data to identify trends and establish actions and develop proactive solutions. Implementing and embedding focussed people metrics that provide insight into trends, performance and culture. Providing professional advice, guidance and support for the management of complex or high-risk employment relations cases. Acting as a positive change agent, advising on and supporting complex organisational change projects ensuring alignment to business goals. Coaching and influencing managers and teams in order to develop people management/leadership skills. Designing and delivering training, communications and briefings on HR policies and procedures to senior managers. Developing HR policies and procedures to reflect best practice and legislative requirements. As the ideal candidate you will have: Chartered MCIPD qualification. Staff management experience in an HR environment. Commitment to own and team’s continuous professional development. Experience of analysing and using workforce information and benchmarking. Thorough and up to date knowledge of employment law. Computer literate with a good understanding of how technology can improve HR practice. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Highly numerate, literate and articulate. Degree qualified, or equivalent. Experience of working and negotiating with Trade Unions and employee representatives.
