Pharmacy Dispenser Additional Information: Location: West London Salary: £22,360, plus benefits Hours: 6am - 3pm / 3pm - 11pm (Rotating and alternating Saturdays) Job Type: Permanent Job Purpose The company is a successful and cutting-edge mobile app that people use to manage their NHS repeat prescription ordering. We're looking for dispensers to help make sure that we can dispense prescriptions and manage stock in a non patient facing environment. Job Opportunity Dispensing prescriptions Using computer systems to generate dispensing labels Assembling and labelling medicines Referring problems or queries to the pharmacist Gathers, organises, and assesses patient information Undertaking other reasonable duties within the framework of the post as directed by the Team Leader/Operations Manager Cleaning work surfaces and shelving on a regular basis and ensuring that all dispensary equipment is kept clean and kept in good working order Ensuring that refrigerated items are stored at the appropriate temperature and maintaining the temperature control record/logbook Attention to detail and ready to hit the KPIs every hour Requirements: Has a UK Dispensing Qualification (NVQ Level 2 dispensary assistant qualification) Fast, accurate and efficient worker Experience in UK community pharmacy dispensing NHS prescriptions Good understanding of NHS prescription system Superb organisational skills and an ability to expertly juggle and prioritise several tasks at the same time A can-do attitude: you are prepared to roll up your sleeves and get things done An appreciation for the importance of respect and confidentiality in healthcare Has exceptional communication skills: verbal and written
