Make a difference every day – Become a Live In Care Assistant We are currently looking for you to join our company as a live in care worker to support a male client with Cerebral Palsy to remain independent in his own home in the Leicester City area (LE1) Rates of pay start at £525 per working week. Full training & support is provided. Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential. This package has an ongoing live in rota based on two weeks on/off per month. We are also looking for car drivers over the age of 21 in order to meet the full requirements of this package of care as the client has a mobility vehicle. A live in care role requires you to stay and live within the client’s home for your agreed rota in this case 2 weeks at a time. You will be provided your own suitable and private room and have adequate breaks each day. You may be required to provide your own food. You will be required to travel to Leicester for your training. Job role and duties will include: Manual handling Medication Personal care Nutrition/Cooking Communication and Record keeping Domestic duties Assisting to attend social activities/ appointments Before you are assigned work you are required to hold a valid DBS to file and link to the update service.
