Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Housing Association, to identify an ambitious and dynamic Development Accountant to join their successful organisation on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this opportunity will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of financial services to the organisation. Further responsibilities will include; Ensuring financial controls around development provide robust business assurance. Production of budgets on forecasts Prepare management and statutory accounts Production of KPIs for Senior Management Responsibility for accounting and reconciliations of development schemes Maintaining appraisal and development cash flow Assist in reviewing the development appraisals Liaise with non finance on a range of financial matters You will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a range of finance and non-finance persons across the organisation, and business partner with senior stakeholders. The successful candidate must be a professionally Qualified Accountant or Finalist (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA) with a driven and proactive approach, and a strong technical skillset.
