Overview

One of the world's leading research-based pharmaceutical companies based in Hertfordshire has partnered with Scientific Professionals to aide in their search for a Director to lead their Translational Science department. You will be stationed at their European Hub; a custom-built facility which houses their research and development labs, clinical projects and manufacturing department. Reporting into the Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacology and Translational/General Medicine, you will be a key collaborator in steering the Translational Science agenda across a large portfolio specialising in Neurodegeneration. As Director your knowledge and experience to think laterally and strategically while tactically deploying the Clinical Pharmacology agenda will be crucial to achieving your goals. Your responsibilities • Develop and lead the Clinical Pharmacology strategy for small and large molecules in the Clinical Development Plan • Grow a strong network of internal and external peers and associates to maintain cutting edge knowledge of the best Clinical Pharmacology approaches and methodologies • Lead the integration of modelling and simulation in pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modelling • Designing and implementing the Clinical Pharmacology studies that allow "early go/no go" decisions This is an incredibly influential role for an experienced individual who is looking to align themselves with a top global pharmaceutical company that is always looking for the best talent from within the market.
