Your new role We are looking for a knowledgeable Early Years’ Service Manager to join the Early Years team on full time and permanent basis. As an early years’ service manager, you will lead the day to day management of the early years’ team and directing the team to meet the requirements of the service. You will take the safeguarding lead for the service and any bids that leads to better outcomes for the children and families. You will ensure all providers are delivering fully inclusive provision and maintain the level of high quality provision by monitoring and ensuring appropriate interventions are in place. You will assist the Head of Service as required and undertake complex situations in their absence. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, it is vital that you have good knowledge of legislation in relation to Early Years and understanding of Safeguarding. Sound knowledge of Data Protection Act and fully inclusive service is essential for this role. To be considered for this role, you need to have previous experience of working effectively in a management post and working with a wide range of partner agencies. It is crucial that you can build meaningful relationships with various stakeholders as you will be dealing with childcare providers, agencies, parents and children.
