Overview
A well-known local brand who are very well established require a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Great environment with a friendly team reporting into the Finance Director, this role is very busy and will be a great step for someone looking for their next move in accounts. Duties & Responsibilities Management of Purchase ledger, including posting invoices and credits, allocating payments, obtaining credits for shortages and keeping track of international deposits and payments Management of sales ledger for Wholesale accounts Bank reconciliations Cash flow forecast update Processing payments to suppliers Management and reconciliation of PayPal account Reconciliation of on-line payment platform Responsibility for utilities contracts Dealing with freight forwarders regarding inbound stock Coordinating in store stock checks Responsibility for fixed asset and prepayment schedules Posting month end journals Balance sheet reconciliations Person Specification - AAT Level 2 or above - Ability to organise and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines - Ability to work as part of a team - IT Literate - Experience of bank reconciliations and purchase ledger Salary: £20-25k Hours 37.5 If you are interested in the role please don’t delay and get your cv across by applying on the below as we are interviewing week commencing March 2nd.
