Finance Assistant Full time (37.5 hours per week) My well known successful client based in Ambleside is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team at their head office in Ambleside. As the team is small and the position reports directly to the Finance Director the role is wide ranging, and there's plenty of scope for a successful ambitious candidate to develop their career. The role would be well suited to someone who is in the early stages in their career who is looking for a role to grow in. Candidate criteria: Possess a positive attitude and be willing to help out across the whole business as required AAT qualified Have previous experience in an Accounts Payable role Have knowledge of import procedures Be a competent user of Excel Detailed job specification: Accounts tasks: Management of Purchase ledger, including posting invoices and credits, allocating payments, obtaining credits for shortages and keeping track of international deposits and payments Management of sales ledger for Wholesale accounts Bank reconciliations Cash flow forecast update Processing payments to suppliers Management and reconciliation of PayPal account Reconciliation of Amazon & Fruugo accounts Reconciliation of on-line payment platform, Adyen, account Assisting stores with various processes including cashing up control, banking and arranging coin change deliveries Responsibility for utilities contracts Dealing with freight forwarders regarding inbound stock Coordinating in store stock checks Management accounts production: Responsibility for fixed asset and prepayment schedules Posting month end journals Balance sheet reconciliations Business reporting: Production of turnover reports Monthly sales report production Completing Office of National Statistics surveys Audit: Preparation of year-end audit files Dealing with auditor queries Sales support: Processing wholesale sales orders Concession sales data input and account reconciliation Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
