Overview
Interim Financial Controller - minimum 12 Months Day Rate Circa £400 per day Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join its team for a period of at least 12 months on a contract basis. The Financial Controller will oversee the production of monthly management accounts and KPI’s. You will be responsible for creating monthly and annual reports to identify results and trends against financial forecasts as well as preparation of annual statutory accounts. Responsibilities Oversee the work of the purchase ledger function; Co-ordinate the annual budgeting process; Regulatory Reporting to a range of external bodies; Monitor Pillar cash flow and produce rolling projections; Liaise with Tax Advisers for Tax reporting and preparation of annual tax computations; Liaise with Senior Management to provide flash numbers and support on one-off pieces of work required by the Operational areas of the business; Management of Management Accounts Team, including relevant training and competency requirements; Lead the annual external audit; Qualifications & Essentials ·A qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with strong commercial and technical experience. ·Highly organised and desire to work in an environment of rapid change ·Ability to work to deadlines, which regularly require reprioritisation ·Proven people management skills with ability to motivate and lead a team. ·Stakeholder management and experience of reporting to senior management. ·Experience of large customer base and high volume environments Some of the clients benefits ·Starting on 23 days holiday a year which raises to max 28 (Plus bank holidays) ·Onsite gym - with access to not 1 but 2 personal trainers ·Onsite restaurant and costa coffee (subsidised) ·Dress down every Friday ·Company Pension ·Free car parking If you do not have a current CV but would like to apply for this role, call Gavin Reynolds at Recruitment Solutions (NW) for an initial conversation about the role WE REGRET THAT DUE TO THE VOLUME OF APPLICANTS THAT WE TYPICALLY RECEIVE, WE ARE UNABLE TO RESPOND TO ALL APPLICANTS WHO ARE UNSUCCESSFUL WITH THEIR APPLICATION
