Our market leading Manufacturing and Engineering Practice has supported clients such as Airbus, Ford and Renault with examples of recent engagements from across our wider client base being: - Cost reduction initiative for a global automotive OEM. - Complex programme delivery for a Tier 1 Aero / Defence supplier - Acquisition support for one of the world’s largest packaging companies What We Need We are looking for a talented candidate who is looking to further their career in Project Management to join our Manufacturing and Engineering Practice as a Project Engineering Consultant . The ideal individual will be supporting one of our clients with tasks such as: - Business process support & enhancement - Stakeholder management - Database construction and analysis - Decision making facilitation - Project co-ordination Who Are You? This intermediate level role will involve working as part of a Project team based on a client site. It would suit a candidate who is beginning to establish their career as within the manufacturing industry, with experience of successfully managing and supporting projects. We are looking for a candidate who has: - A degree in an Engineering related course, e.g. Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Motorsport Engineering - Strong analytical skills, with good attention to detail - Previous use of other tools (eg: Excel, Tableau, MS Project, Plannisware etc) advantageous but not mandatory - Good communication skills as you’ll be client facing and working with project stakeholders - Previous experience (2 years) of working in the manufacturing industry, internships will not suffice - Planning/PMO/Coordination/Project Leading - Strong stakeholder management skills - Willingness to take ownership and responsibility of tasks from a early stage Candidates should already have the right to work in the UK as we are unable to sponsor visa applications for this position.
